Di Libe brent wi a nase Szmate (“Love Burns like a Wet Rag”) returns to FestivALT for a Shabbat evening of music, stories, and food. Maja Pompa and Łaja Szkło’s duo will kick off this year’s festival with Klezmer-infused melodies, queer lyrics, and stories from the seedy underbelly of pre-war Jewish Poland.
